Osaka Departure: Amanohashidate & Ine Fishing Village Boat Tour (Includes 'Spirited Away' Train Ride on Tango Railway)

For our first family trip, we chose a tour instead of a package tour, and I really don't regret it. Although there weren't many Koreans, thanks to Guide Joe taking such good care of us, we were able to take lots of family photos and experience various things, making it a truly meaningful time.

I took the Inefunaya tour with Guide Seo Geum-bong. I traveled with people of various nationalities, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The guide was punctual and told so many interesting stories that it wasn't boring at all. The guide, who speaks three languages, looked really cool. It was crowded because it was Silver Week, but the view of the sea from the Tango train (he told us to sit on the left side in the direction of travel, as the sun is strong on the right) was romantic, and the fishing village vibe we got by boat was incredible. The water was clear, and the blue fish were really pretty. You have to buy Shrimp Crackers for 100 yen, so make sure to prepare coins, and the seagulls were very aggressive and scary.

I traveled with Guide Liao. He was kind, and even though only 5 out of about 30 people were Korean, he made a great effort to communicate in various languages. Amanohashitate was incredibly beautiful and lovely. We were given time including lunch, but since there are limited restaurants nearby and other tour groups overlap, every place gets crowded and food comes out late. If you take your time, you might have trouble getting a meal. Although the travel time to and from the site is long, the scenery was truly amazing, so I was very satisfied.

The tour with Guide Ku Mun-gil was amazing! 👍 Since it was my first time in Northern Kyoto, I decided on a bus tour, and it was truly a great choice!! I booked at the lowest price!! It was an incredible bargain price and the best value for money! Especially Guide Ku Mun-gil—you worked so hard and I am so grateful. Most of the guests were from Taiwan and Hong Kong, with only two Japanese and us two Koreans, so you explained things in three languages every time. It must have been really tiring for you, but you always treated us with a smile. You are the best!! Thanks to you, I had a fun trip and made great memories. We couldn't go inside Ine Funaya because of the fireworks festival, but looking around from the cruise ship was also great. The cable car to Amino-Hashidate Observatory was so fascinating and fun. I highly recommend the single-person cable car over the monorail. I had sea bream ochazuke at a restaurant recommended by the guide, and it was so delicious~ It would have been a total hit if they had kimchi, haha~ The bean ice cream at the entrance to the parking lot is also tasty. Because it rained, I couldn't feel the sunshine in the photos, but I loved the rainy atmosphere itself. I also captured a lot of beautiful scenery while riding the Tango Train. It is a place I want to visit again in a different season!!

Guide Sammanpyeong worked so hard, and is fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. You were passionate about introducing the places. It was fun because you didn't just sit down during transfers but kept standing to explain.
