It was great to hear the history of Korea from our guide, seeing the history from a Korean's point of view and the impact on his family and the nation made the trip more valuable. Peter Pan was fantastic, setting the scene and explaining the history and expectations for every part of the trip.

Philip was an incredible guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us navigate the DMZ tour to best avoid crowds and to make the most of our visit. Gamaksan was a nice way to end the day in the mountains amid stunning scenery. We highly recommend this tour and Philip!

Peter Pan is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable of Korean history. It was a very very hot day and we made some extra stops for cold drinks. Peter picked us up at 7AM and we were back at our hotel just before 5PM. It’s a long day but worth it, I learned a lot and my teenagers too.

Book the private tour to have the Guide go more in-depth. Peter's Military Background was very helpful

매력포인트

A private tour for just your family or group, visiting the DMZ and Gamaksan Suspension Bridge in one day by private vehicle. After pickup from your hotel in downtown Seoul, visit the main DMZ sights such as Imjingak Nuri Peace Park, the 3rd Tunnel and Dora Observatory with a professional guide. Your guide vividly explains how the tunnel dug by North Korea was discovered and shares the story of the two Koreas. Finally, cross the 150 m Gamaksan Suspension Bridge and take in the mountain views.

프로그램

Depart from your Seoul hotel
and start a DMZ tour just for your group

After pickup from your downtown Seoul hotel at 7:00 AM, travel to the DMZ by private vehicle. As this is a private tour for your family or group only, you can travel comfortably throughout the day.

Learn about the division at Imjingak and Dora Observatory

Explore DMZ highlights such as Imjingak Nuri Peace Park and Dora Observatory while your guide tells the story of North and South Korea.

Explore the 3rd Tunnel and the DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall

Learn why North Korea built the tunnel for a surprise invasion of the South and how it was discovered by chance. Then head to the DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall to learn more about the tunnel and the history of the two Koreas.

Cross Gamaksan Suspension Bridge and enjoy the mountain views

After the DMZ, head to Gamaksan Suspension Bridge. The 150 m bridge was built without piers to blend in with nature. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel around 4:00 PM.

※ Depending on the weather and visibility, North Korea may not be clearly visible from Dora Observatory.
