The museum presents exhibits as one continuous story, from the devastation of the atomic bombing and the events that led to it, to the history of nuclear weapons development and the wish for peace. A visit takes about 1 hour.

Follow the photography rules

Photography and video are allowed inside the building, but close-up shots of individual exhibits require permission from the management office. Flash, tripods and selfie sticks are not allowed in the exhibition rooms, and photography of "The Atomic Bomb Panels" in front of the ticket machines on B2 and "The Boy Standing by the Crematory" at the exit of the route on B1 is prohibited.

No ticket exchange is needed; just show your mobile voucher to enter. Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the building, but you can stay hydrated in the B1 relaxation plaza and the vending machine corner on the 1st floor.
