Meet at Hongik Univ. Station, Namsan Yejang Bus Terminal or Dongdaemun and travel by bus on this day tour of Gyeonggi Province that takes about 11 hours. With a guide who speaks English, Chinese and Korean, you visit the Korean Folk Village in Yongin, Suwon Hwaseong and the Seohaerang Jebu sea cable car in turn.
The day starts with arrival at the Korean Folk Village at around 9:30 AM, followed by lunch, Suwon Hwaseong and the Jebudo sea cable car, and returns to Seoul at around 8:00 PM. The schedule and times may change depending on local conditions.
Step into Joseon-era life at the Korean Folk Village
The Korean Folk Village is a living museum that recreates everyday life in the Joseon era from the 17th to 19th centuries. It has traditional houses, farmhouses and craft workshops, and you spend about 2 hours 30 minutes walking around, taking photos and watching traditional performances. Folk music, horseback martial arts and traditional wedding reenactments are held regularly.
Entrance to the village is included. Lunch is not included in the price, and you pay for your own meal.
Walk the walls and gates of Suwon Hwaseong
Suwon Hwaseong is a UNESCO World Heritage fortress built by King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty in the 1790s. The walls surrounding central Suwon have four main gates, and you spend about 1 hour exploring the fortress walls and gates. Activities such as martial arts performances, archery and guided trolley tours are available.
Look down on the West Sea from the Jebudo sea cable car
The last stop is the Seohaerang Jebu sea cable car. The route runs straight over the sea, so you can see the tidal flats, coastline, fishing villages and nearby islands. Cable car admission is included, and you have free time in this area.

For Dongdaemun, find the bus in front of Hotel The Designers, across from Exit 5 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, and meet your guide. From December 2026, the Hongdae meeting and drop-off point moves to near Exit 5 of Hongik Univ. Station (AREX).
