Also alle Punkte mit 5 Sternen erfüllt!!!! Danke lieber Kichan!

This was a fantastic tour! Tour included a detailed overview of the Korean war in only two hours. I was incredibly impressed with how much history we covered in the short amount of time. Highly recommend to get the most out of your museum visit, especially if you don't have a lot of time. Guide was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and (most importantly) very balanced in his tour. I don't think I have ever learned so much history in such a brief period of time! This made for a great start to my visit to Seoul.

It was great! One of the best two tours I have had in my life and I shave traveled the globe. Our guide was knowledgeable and even though his political stance obvious, he did a nice job giving both sides of the story which actually gave the tour a richer dynamic. I honestly feel I could tell the story of the Korean War to anyone based on the amazing-ness of this tour guide. I will recommend him to all of my family and friends. Very good! 5 stars!

Learn the background and course
of the Korean War at the War Memorial

This 2-hour guided tour at the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan, Seoul is led in English with commentary from your guide. It follows the big picture of the Korean War, from how North and South Korea came into being after liberation to the origins of the war, its four phases, and the armistice and the birth of the DMZ.

Go through the story from liberation to the armistice

Your guide explains in order the birth of North and South Korea after liberation, the origins and background of the war, its four phases, and how the armistice and the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) came about. Understanding the Korean War helps you understand today's relations between the two Koreas.

Hear stories not covered in the exhibits

The tour also introduces stories that the museum's exhibits do not cover in depth. A guide studying for a doctorate, with expertise in Korean history, peace activism and DMZ tours, explains while showing materials such as photos and copies of documents.
