This 3.5-hour small-group walking tour starts when you meet a local guide at Gyeongui Line Forest Park by Hongik University Station Exit 3 and take a bus to Ansan. Groups are limited to 6 people, and the guide leads the tour in English and Korean.

You cover a forest walk, views from the beacon mound, a barefoot walk on a red clay path, the Hongjecheon artificial waterfall, and a cafe break, all in one trip through Seoul’s urban nature.

Walk the Ansan forest trail up to the beacon mound

After a bus ride of about 15 minutes from Hongdae, you walk along the Ansan forest trail. You climb to the beacon mound and enjoy views over Seoul while your guide explains the sights for about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Walk barefoot on a red clay path

Take off your shoes and walk barefoot on a soft red clay path for about 30 minutes. It helps to bring a small towel to wipe your feet.

See the Hongjecheon waterfall and rest at a cafe

You spend about 20 minutes taking photos at the Hongjecheon artificial waterfall, then finish with about 15 minutes of free time at a nearby cafe. Drinks at the cafe are not included.
