Etruscan antiquities and modern art together
at Fondazione Luigi Rovati
This is an admission ticket to the Fondazione Luigi Rovati museum on Corso Venezia in Milan. Across two floors, the Hypogeum and the Piano Nobile, you can see more than 250 works that bring Etruscan antiquities and modern art together. Admission to both the permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions is included.
Discover Etruscan antiquities on the Hypogeum floor

On the Hypogeum floor you can see stone architecture and a large travertine urn. Inside the dome, large vases, votive offerings, antefixes and small Etruscan bronzes are displayed in triangular crystal cases, alongside modern works by Lucio Fontana and Arturo Martini.
From the dome to the large oval hall, you learn about the daily life, homes, workshops and seafaring of the Etruscans. You can also see a Picasso vase reinterpreting an Etruscan banquet image and a medal engraved with Alberto Giacometti profiles, while a video animation projected onto stone tells an episode of Etruscan history in a small room.
See restored rooms and modern works on the Piano Nobile

The Piano Nobile on the second level was designed by Filippo Perego. The woodwork, gilded doors, marble fireplaces and 18th-century hallway mirrors have been restored and redesigned into an exhibition space.
In the Light Blue Room you can see Andy Warhol's canvas The Etruscan Scene: Female Ritual/Dance (1985) and drawings and watercolors by Augusto Guido Gatti. A set of seven Etruscan painted fragments that have never been shown to the public is displayed in a case.
