With the JR West Hiroshima Yamaguchi Pass, you can freely travel to all areas shown on the map above.

Available trains:
- Reserved seats on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Mihara⇔Hakata) (You can also ride on the Hello Kitty Shinkansen.)
- Reserved seats on express trains
- New rapid trains, rapid trains, and local trains on JR West existing lines
- JR West Miyajima Ferry (Miyajimaguchi⇔Miyajima)

Trains not available:
- Sanyo Shinkansen (Mihara⇔Shin-Osaka)
- Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka⇔Tokyo)
- Kyushu Shinkansen (Hakata⇔Kagoshima-Chuo)

Exchange your pass at Hakata Station

Passes purchased from WAUG must be exchanged for tickets at Hakata Station. You can exchange at the automatic vending machine at Hakata Station! I recommend using a ticket vending machine because you can get a ticket from the ticket vending machine without having to wait in line at the JR ticket office.

Information on sales period and usage period

The JR West Hiroshima Yamaguchi Pass can be purchased from one month before the start date of use. Also, this pass is a 5-day pass, but the date calculation is valid for consecutive days. In other words, even if you don't use it in between, 5 days will still pass. Additionally, the rail pass is valid from 12 PM.
