I booked my tickets in advance and went right in. Since I visited in the morning, there weren't many people so I was able to look around leisurely. I saw a lot of koalas and had a fun time with the kids :)

We visited as a family, and the kids absolutely loved it. The area where you can see kangaroos and wallabies up close was so popular that the kids stayed there for hours, and the birds of prey show was much more sublime than I expected. The only downside is that the cafe can get a bit crowded during lunch time.
