If you want to see Sydney's diverse wildlife right before your eyes, head to Featherdale Zoo! About 2,000 animals live here, including mainland Australian animals such as kangaroos and wallabies. Introduction to how to get there

Take the North Shore and Western line train and get off at Doonside Station.
Walk 1.5km and take the North Shore and Western line train to Blacktown Station.
Take bus number 725 or 729 in front of the train station and travel for about 10 minutes to reach your destination.

1. Take a selfie with a quokka
If you participate, you can sit among the quokkas and give them food. You can take videos and photos throughout your quokka encounter. How about taking that coveted quokka selfie? Participants will receive a professional photo keepsake of the experience.

2. Playing with wombats
While the wombat is eating, go into its cage and pat its back a lot. Feel free to take videos and photos during your encounter with the wombat. Of course, photo souvenirs are also included.

3. Feed the penguins
You can help keepers enter the penguin colony and feed them. Sit with them, feed them, and watch them play. Take videos and photos during your encounter with the penguins.

4. Feeding koalas
You can help put eucalyptus leaves into the koala's feeder. Sit in the enclosure and relax with the koalas as they enjoy eating the leaves you just handed them. Leave your cute side in photos and videos.

Explore Featherdale's three kangaroos and marsupial walking area. You can hand-feed Featherdale’s special kangaroo food.
