From Endangered Species to Native Australian Animals

If you want to see Sydney's diverse wildlife up close, head to Featherdale Wildlife Park! It's home to about 2,000 animals, including native Australian species like kangaroos and wallabies. With around 30 endangered species and about 40 koalas, you can even pet and take photos with koalas.

Getting Here

Take a train on the North Shore and Western line to Doonside Station. From there, walk 1.5 km and take the North Shore and Western line train again to Blacktown Station. Board bus number 725 or 729 from the bus stop in front of the station and travel for about 10 minutes to reach your destination.

Various Experiences Available

Many animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park are unafraid of people, allowing for more intimate interactions! Add various activities for a richer experience.

1. Quokka Selfie Experience
During this experience, you can sit among the quokkas and feed them. You can take videos and photos throughout your encounter with the quokkas. How about snapping a coveted quokka selfie? Participants receive a professional souvenir photo of this experience.

2. Wombat Encounter
While the wombats eat, enter their enclosure and give them plenty of pats on the back. Take as many videos and photos as you like during your wombat encounter. A souvenir photo is also included.

3. Penguin Feeding
You can help the keepers feed the penguins in their habitat. Sit with them, offer food, and watch them play. Capture videos and photos of your time with the penguins.

4. Koala Feeding
Help place eucalyptus leaves into the koalas' feeding containers. Watch them enjoy the leaves you just gave them and relax with the koalas inside the enclosure. Capture their cuteness in photos and videos.

5. Kangaroo Feeding
Explore the marsupial walk-through area with three of Featherdale's kangaroos. You can hand-feed them Featherdale's special kangaroo food.
