A museum where you meet microbes
At Micropia, you can experience the smallest and most successful life forms! Every human carries about 1.5 kilograms of microbes, which you'll quickly learn upon entering with your priority admission ticket. Microbes are everywhere, and they shape your world. You can experience this firsthand through a specially designed 3D viewer that allows you to see how living microbes move, eat, and reproduce.

Since COVID, we have become very interested in invisible microbes and viruses. Micropia in Amsterdam introduces you to this world of microbes.
