Yeongwol Youthful Moon Wave Park, a former coal mine transformed into an innovative art space, offers a unique atmosphere where traces of the past and modern artistic sensibilities blend harmoniously. Wherever you go, unique sculptures and modern art pieces catch your eye, and the beautiful natural scenery around you creates a special impression.

🎨 Red Bamboo
: This is a large-scale installation art piece by Choi Ok-young that leaves a strong impression from the entrance. The red metal pipes rising toward the sky are reminiscent of a red bamboo forest, symbolizing the energy and universe of Youngdal Wipark. At night, the lights are added to create an even more intense and mysterious atmosphere.
🎨 Jupiter
: It is a huge dome-shaped work of art made by weaving together pine firewood grown in Gangwon-do. The interior is cozy and gives the feeling of a mother’s embrace or outer space, and the sunlight coming through the firewood shines beautifully. It boasts an overwhelming size of 15m in height.
🎨 Red Pavilion
: It is a unique H-shaped building made of red metal pipes. You can experience a unique space by climbing the red stairs and walking through the red passageway.
🎨 The path of the wind
: The path connected to the red pavilion was designed to allow visitors to feel Yeongwol’s nature through the steel pipes. The contrast between the red and natural green creates a more vivid landscape.
