[Introduction to Works]
🎨Red Bamboo
: A large installation art piece by artist Choi Ok-young that makes a strong impression from the entrance. The red metal pipes soaring towards the sky resemble a red bamboo forest, symbolizing the energy and universe of Youngwol Y Park. At night, the lighting adds an even more intense and mysterious atmosphere.
🎨Jupiter (木星)
: A giant dome-shaped work made by weaving pine firewood grown in Gangwon-do. The interior is cozy, giving a feeling like a mother's embrace or outer space, and the sunlight coming through the firewood shines beautifully. It boasts an overwhelming size reaching 15m in height.
🎨Red Pavilion
: A unique H-shaped building made of red metal pipes. You can have a different spatial experience by climbing the red stairs and walking through the red passage.
🎨The Path of Wind
: A path connected to the Red Pavilion, created to allow you to feel the nature of Yeongwol through the steel pipes. The contrast between the red and the green of nature provides an even more vibrant landscape.
In addition to the works introduced above, there are various sculptures and installation art pieces throughout Youngwol Y Park. Also, be sure to check out the special exhibitions held at the art museum!
