Akiyoshido Cave, located 100 meters underground in Akiyoshido National Park, is one of the largest stalactite caves in Japan. If you walk along the 1 km long tourist course, you can see various forms of stalactites and stalagmites. How to get there:
From JR Shin-Yamaguchi Station, take a bus for about 40 minutes and get off at "Akiyoda Cave", "Akiyoshidong", or "Akiyoshido Cave"
