The main exchange locations are the JR Foreign Language Information Desk at Sapporo Station and the JR Foreign Language Information Desk at New Chitose Airport Station, but more than 75% of travelers exchange at the JR Foreign Language Information Desk at New Chitose Airport Station. There are staff members who can speak Korean, English, and Chinese, although they are not always present, and they exchange various pass tickets, including the Hokkaido Rail Pass.

The Sapporo-Furano Area Pass is a pass that allows you to use all JR trains to Sapporo Airport and the city, Furano, Biei, and even Otaru.
