A picturesque castle,
Chaumont Castle
The Chateau de Chaumont, an old castle located in the Centre-Val-d'Loire region of France, is a famous place that was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. The Chateau de Chaumont, a Renaissance-style building with an impressive beautiful garden, was built by the Count of Blois to monitor enemy movements. Enjoy a special time appreciating various works of art in this fairytale-like castle!
How to get to Chateau de Chaumont
To get to the Chateau de Chaumont, take the train bound for Rousseau from Blois Station, get off at Onzain-Chamont-sur-Loire, and walk about 1.5 km. There isn't as much walking as you might think, and the scenery you see while walking is beautiful, so I recommend going at least once.
A beautiful and fairytale-like castle
It is smaller and more cozy than other castles in Paris, but it feels like a castle from a fairy tale, and it is really pretty because there are various flowers and gardens inside. Inside the castle, you can see the furniture that the owner of the castle used to keep intact.
Also, the garden has beautiful scenery that looks like a Monet landscape painting, which is also one of the real things to see.
