BESTI used it with my parents. Since there aren't many tours you can do in Kyoto, I was worried, but thanks to this, I was able to use it well. - The ticket exchange window is near the northwest exit of Kyoto Station. - There are coin lockers next to the window, so you can use them. - The guide is friendly, and the driver drives safely. - There are many families and elderly people. What was disappointing was that the tour time for Kinugawa/Ginkaku-ji was short, so I remember leaving in a hurry. We got off at Kiyomizu-dera and traveled freely. - I recommend it to family travelers like me.
Take the Okoshi bus,
Kyoto's top three attractions at a reasonable price!
Is this your first time visiting Kyoto? I would like to introduce a tour that is highly recommended for those who are new to Kyoto, as it allows you to quickly visit the three world heritage sites that are essential in Kyoto, Kinkakuji Temple, Silver Pavilion Temple, and Cheongsuji Temple in one day.
Tour the famous sights of Kyoto, the former capital of Japan, for 5 hours and be captivated by the tranquil atmosphere of Kyoto! You will have free time at Cheongsusa Temple, so you can enjoy lunch on Gion Street, which is filled with traditional restaurants, or enjoy shopping at various stores around Cheongsusa Temple.
A great tour where you don’t have to worry about language since a Korean audio guide is provided! Don't miss it.
Kyoto's three major attractions in half a day
Okoshi sightseeing bus
If you want to visit Kyoto's must-see spots quickly and comfortably, how about taking a half-day bus tour? Since you only visit the three major attractions of Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, and Kiyomizu-dera, you can spend your time compactly but meaningfully. Also, since you can listen to explanations of historical and traditional elements in Korean on the way on the bus, you can enjoy the tour without worrying about the language barrier, making it an even better tour! Take the OKOSHI bus and fully enjoy Kyoto.
The dazzling golden Kinkaku-ji
One of the historic temples boasting a history of about 600 years, Kinkaku-ji is officially called Rokuon-ji. It is called Kinkaku-ji because the second and third floors of the three-story pavilion are covered in gold leaf. Kinkaku-ji is the Sarira Hall where the relics of Buddha are kept, and it is the most famous scenic spot in Kyoto, so it is a must-visit course.
Quiet Garden, Eun-gak-sa
Ginkaku-ji Temple is a relatively quiet place with few tourists, so you can enjoy a quiet walk! Here, you can see a neatly trimmed traditional Japanese garden. Ginkaku-ji Temple is a bit far from the city center, so it may be inconvenient to visit on your own, but if you book a bus tour, you can visit easily!
The end of the tour, Kiyomizu-dera
Kiyomizu-dera, also known as Kiyomizu-dera, is a temple registered as a World Cultural Heritage site and is full of attractive sights in all four seasons. The temple, built precariously on a cliff, is particularly impressive. You can spend time exploring the restaurants in the surrounding Gion Street or enjoying shopping at Kiyomizu-dera!
