From Padang Bai, Bali to Gili

The ferry to Gili from Bali departs from Padang Bai. After being picked up from each hotel and arriving at Padang Bai, check in at the Ekajaya ticket office and board the boat at the boarding point according to the operating time. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by ferry from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan.

Once you arrive at Gili Island and get off at the pier, pick up your luggage and move. There is no public transportation, including cars, on Gili Island, so please note that you will have to walk, cycle, or use local transportation such as a horse-drawn carriage!

Enjoy the Balinese sea from the ship

Once the ferry departs, you can go up to the second-floor deck. You can relax in the cool, air-conditioned interior, or go up to the deck and enjoy the sun, sea, and cool breeze with a beer sold at Ekajaya. (However, be careful of sunburn as the sunlight is strong!)

From Gili to Padang Bai, Bali

If you have purchased a round-trip ticket between Bali ↔ Gili, you must check in at least 1 day before leaving Gili Trawangan. Go to the Ekajaya office at the port where you got off and make a boarding reservation.

For your information, the journey from Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai takes 2 hours and 30 minutes because it stops at all the islands (Meno, Air, Lombok Bangsal), unlike when entering from Bali. It takes about 1 hour longer than when entering Gili from Bali Padang Bai, so please keep this in mind when planning your trip!

You can get to the port faster and more comfortably by adding a private pick-up option. Also, airport drop-offs are possible, but airport pick-ups are not possible as the plane may not arrive on time, so please keep this in mind!
