BESTI highly recommend Suaka Made, the guide. She is passionate and very kind. She also speaks Korean much better than other guides. She tried very hard to make us feel as comfortable as possible, which was really great.

Bali Independence Monument
Puputan is a word created by emphasizing the word Puput, which means ‘death, consumption’ in Balinese, and has meanings such as ‘desperate struggle, death that does not back down’. This means the war of independence against the Netherlands that took place in Bali. Indonesia became independent on August 17, 1945, after 350 years as a Dutch colony and 3 years as a Japanese colony, but it is said that the Bali region went through a long ordeal, including being reoccupied by the Netherlands.
Bali's Independence Monument was built to commemorate General Ngurah Rai and war victims, the model for the 50,000 rupiah banknote. The building, which combines the architectural styles of Balinese palaces and temples, has eight pillars and 17 stairs, symbolizing Independence Day on August 17. The top floor is decorated as an observation deck, so you can overlook the entire city of Denpasar and Pupudan Square.
Padang Padang, a unique beach in southern Bali
Visit Padang Padang Beach, which became famous as the Bali filming location for the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love' and has a unique entrance. The entrance is very unique, as you have to walk down stone steps from the road between huge rocks below the cliff.
Enjoy both dynamic water play and quiet contemplation in this charming yet magnificent magical place! If you played in the water, there are simple paid shower facilities so you can wash up.
Surf beach view from single fin
A place where you can see the amazing surfing skills of surfers! Single Fin Beach Club is famous for its panoramic view of the southern Bali ocean. Single Fin Beach Club is designed so that all seats face the sea, so many surfers come here to rest and ignite their desire for the sea. In addition, many couples gather to enjoy the picturesque sunset created by the beautiful sea and sky and have a sweet time.
How about a cold Bintang beer or mojito while admiring the sea of Bali?
Uluwatu Temple, on top of a sheer cliff
Uluwatu Temple, built atop a sheer cliff of 75 meters, is the largest temple in the Pecatu region of southern Bali and is considered the most important temple in Bali. 'Ulu' means head, 'Watu' means stone, and it is made of black volcanic stone, meaning the soul of the sea. This is the filming location for ‘What Happened in Bali’ and also where the cliff escape scene in the final scene of the movie ‘Papillon’ was filmed.
Feel the sacredness of this place, which was created by worshiping God and seeking harmony with nature, nestled in the silence of a temple on a sea cliff.
