Battery Park is located near the South Ferry station, the last stop on Line 1, so it's easy to get to by bus or subway. Ferries operate every 25 to 30 minutes starting at 9 a.m. from the departure point. The tip here is to start sightseeing early in the morning. There are many tourists in the afternoon, and it is difficult to visit the two islands if you take the ferry late in the day.
