Coconut Prison
Coconut Prison is a former prison used by the US military during the Vietnam War in 1967 to imprison and torture Vietnamese soldiers and politicians. It has the official name 'Phu Quoc Prison', but it is called 'Coconut Prison' because it is said that prisoners in the past tried to escape by digging tunnels with coconut shells.
Wax figures recreating the harsh torture scenes inflicted on Vietnamese soldiers are on display here, allowing you to get a glimpse into Vietnam's war history.
