BESTI went to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park with my family and it was an amazing experience! The statue of Vishnu on top of Garuda is just breathtaking. You can see it from all over the area, but seeing it up close is something else. The sheer size and detail are incredible. The park itself is really beautiful and well-maintained. We loved exploring the different plazas and gardens. There's also a free shuttle bus that takes you from the entrance to the main statue, which was a lifesaver because the park is huge and it gets pretty hot. We were also lucky enough to catch one of the cultural performances, which was a great way to learn about Balinese traditions. It was a perfect blend of a big, modern landmark and a rich cultural experience. I highly recommend visiting, especially in the late afternoon to catch the sunset!
