Ski Resort Facilities Guide

With a 4.5km long course starting from the 1,500m summit and a variety of slopes, everyone from beginners to advanced skiers can enjoy it. You can enjoy soft, high-quality powder snow due to the abundant snowfall unique to the Myoko area.
Ski & Snowboard Area
Consisting of a total of 17 courses, there are a variety of courses available, from gentle slopes for beginners to steep slopes for experts. The 4.5km long cruise from the summit to the foot of the mountain is the signature course of Akakura Resort.
Akakura Kanko Hotel
This classic hotel is located in the middle of the slope (approximately 1,000m above sea level) and has been loved as a symbol of luxury resorts in Japan since its opening in 1937. All rooms offer views of the snowy mountains, and there are natural hot spring baths, restaurants, lounges, and more where you can relax and enjoy delicious food.
With a ski-in/ski-out structure, you can go directly to the slopes without taking the lift.
Hot Springs & Relaxation Area
You can soothe your body and mind while looking at Mt. Myoko in the natural hot spring in the hotel. There are both open-air and indoor baths, perfect for relieving fatigue after skiing. You can enjoy the snowy scenery with a cup of warm coffee in the lobby lounge.
