Starting at a peak 1,500 meters above sea level, the 4.5km course and diverse slopes offer a variety of experiences for both beginners and experts. The abundant snowfall typical of the Myoko region ensures smooth, high-quality powder snow.
Ski & Snowboard Area
Comprised of 17 courses, the ski slopes range from gentle slopes for beginners to steep courses for experts. The 4.5km long cruise from the summit to the base of the mountain is Akakura Resort's signature course.
Akakura Kanko Hotel
This classic hotel, perched mid-slope (approximately 1,000 meters above sea level), has been a beloved symbol of Japan's luxury resorts since its opening in 1937. Every room offers views of the snowy mountains, and the hotel boasts a natural hot spring bath, restaurant, and lounge, offering both relaxation and culinary delights.
It is a ski-in, ski-out structure, so you can go straight to the slopes without taking the lift.
Hot Springs & Relaxation Area
