How to Exchange Your Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Pass
The Sapporo-Noboribetsu Area Pass purchased through WAUG is an exchange order that needs to be converted into a physical ticket locally. The main exchange points are the JR Foreign Language Service Desk at Sapporo Station and the JR Foreign Language Service Desk at New Chitose Airport Station. Over 75% of travelers exchange their passes at the New Chitose Airport Station JR Foreign Language Service Desk. While not always present, staff who can speak Korean, English, and Chinese are available here to assist with exchanging Hokkaido Rail Passes and other passes.

How to Reserve a Reserved Seat:
When boarding a reserved seat, you must upgrade to a reserved seat *before* boarding. (Reserved seats cannot be booked after boarding.)
