Jay was amazing...truly one of the best photographers I've ever worked with. She came prepared with a variety of props in her backpack, such as a fan and a book, which made posing much easier. She also guided me through different poses and showed me exactly how to position myself for the best photos. In addition, she knew all of the best photo locations, including hidden spots where the flowers were in bloom. Along the way, she shared interesting facts about the palace, pointing out places like where the queen slept and where the ballroom was located, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As an American, I found her English very easy to understand, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. I would especially recommend this experience for solo travelers, as she made me feel comfortable throughout the entire shoot. One tip: if you're visiting in May, I recommend renting your hanbok early and booking an early morning photoshoot. The hanbok can get quite hot.
