Daniel was so knowledgeable about apescts of the forest. Unfortunately we didn't get to see an Coati but we saw plenty of monkies. Daniel had a deep respect and care for the first which was so great to see. The trail was a good length and we stopped often to check out wildlife.

Victor was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly! The tour guide does make a difference! Our group was pretty adventurous, I was hoping to take our time a little bit and look for more animals but I think the group just wanted to hike and see both the caves. It’s been awhile since we hiked like that so I was a little out of shape climbing up the steep mountain. We only really took one break but I think that was just the tempo of my group. We did see a sloth and a toucan!! Vista Chinese was a spectacular view and the caves was mesmerizing! After the tour, Victor recommended some lunch options and even dropped us off near the restaurant in Ipanema. Awesome day with some pretty decent weather for a hike in the rainforest. Definitely recommend!

After hotel pickup, you'll be transferred to Tijuca National Park. Explore the dense rainforest on a nature trail for about 2-4.5 km with your expert eco-guide and a small group. The trail features gentle elevation changes and sections with tree roots and rocks, but no prior hiking experience is necessary. Your guide will lead the tour at a comfortable pace tailored to the group.

Explore waterfalls and hidden caves

You'll encounter approximately 2-4 waterfalls, including the park's iconic Cascatinha Taunay, depending on the season and the specific route for the day. Some trails even offer a refreshing dip under a waterfall hidden within the forest.

Next, explore caves such as Belmiro, Archer, and Bat Cave, nestled within the park's massive granite formations. As you walk the forest paths, keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls this place home, including monkeys, sloths, birds, and butterflies.
