We made the tour on a wednesday morning with our tourguide joao and it was absolute cinema. Joao was such a good guide, he cared about us and tried to make the best out there to show us this wonderful place. Was a pleasure of meeting him and being guided by him. The location and the sunset itself was beautiful. Self explanatory that the early wake up call was worth it :)

Onze gids Marvyn was top! De wandeling zelf duurt een uurtje met diverse stops voor viewpoints. Marvyn is enthoushiast en weet ons veel te vertellen over Rio en de favela's. Hij weet veel van de lokale dieren en gaat hier ook netjes mee om, andere gidsen voeren bijv de aapjes... Bovenaan de top was het werkelijk prachtig met de zonsopkomst! Ik vind zelf de prijs voor deze activiteit (ze zijn allemaal even duur dus niet specifiek voor deze organisatie) wel prijzig. Je moet met eigen vervoer naar de ontmoetingsplek, vervolgens de motortaxi heen en terug naar de startplek en de entree voor het gebied nog betalen.
