Experience 4WD adventures and sandboarding on the vast sand dunes of Anna Bay

Depart from near Sydney Central around 7:00 AM and travel to Port Stephens. There will be a brief stop en route for you to purchase coffee or a light breakfast individually.

Upon arrival in Port Stephens, begin your adventure at the massive coastal dunes of Anna Bay. Experience a thrilling desert tour aboard a 4WD vehicle, navigating the sandy hills, and then feel the exhilaration of sandboarding down steep slopes. If sandboarding isn't for you, you can explore the unique landscape of the dunes and capture memorable photos.

Afterwards, head to Nelson Bay for some free time. Stroll along the beach or enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace at one of the local restaurants or cafes.

Conquer Tomaree Head for panoramic views of Port Stephens

Following lunch, join your guide for a hike up Tomaree Head. The trek to the summit takes approximately 25-30 minutes one-way, involving uphill paths and stairs leading to the viewpoint.

At the summit, you'll be rewarded with a spectacular panorama encompassing the blue waters of Port Stephens, Nelson Bay, and the surrounding headlands and islands. Keep an eye out for marine life like dolphins during their migration, if you're lucky. After soaking in the views, descend the mountain and return to the vehicle for your journey back to Sydney. You'll arrive back in central Sydney around 6:30 PM, concluding your day's adventure.
