The Klementinum is a vast architectural complex spanning an entire city block. Construction began in 1653, and today, most of the buildings are occupied by the Czech National Library. For about 45 minutes, you'll be led by an English-speaking guide through the Baroque Library Hall, Meridian Hall, and the Astronomical Tower.

Step into the magnificent Baroque Library Hall, decorated with stunning frescoes, gold leaf accents, and an impressive globe. Please note that you will view the library hall from behind a barrier, without entering directly.

Learn How Noon Was Determined in the Meridian Hall

On your way to the Astronomical Tower, make a brief stop at the Meridian Hall. Here, you'll see various historical instruments and learn from your guide how precise noon times were determined using sunlight filtering through a small hole in the wall.

Enjoy Prague Views from the 68m Astronomical Tower

Finally, ascend to the top of the Astronomical Tower. From a height of 68 meters, you'll be treated to breathtaking, unobstructed views of Prague's city center and Prague Castle, marking the end of your tour.
