Not sure, but maybe paid more online, but it did save having to pay at the door. Wonderful concert! Nice to see so many people at an organ concert in such a spectacular setting.

I loved hearing the organ played at St. Stephen’s Basilica. The sound in that old building was incredible. Having an opera singer and a flautist was an added bonus!

I am very biased as this concert fulfilled a long-time dream of mine - to hear Bach's Toccata and Fugue in a large European cathedral. The "orchestra" consisted of the organist, a flutist, and a tenor. From the first note of the first work, I knew this was going to be a special evening - what a beautiful sound!I was not familiar with the opera based works (I am an orchestral classical music fanatic) and a couple of the organ works. All three performers were excellent. The setting was acoustically incredible. The flutist tuned his instrument before he performed, and the reverb was at least 6 seconds. The Bach Toccata and Fugue in this setting took me on a spiritual journey like I had not experienced before. Its performance in Disney's Fantasia will mean so much more to me now. I heard the same work the next day in Matthias Cathedral, and it was not even close acoustically. My dream has finally been attained, and I am genuinely blessed to have hard this work and the rest of the concert.

Seats are divided into VIP tickets (Rows 1), Category I (Rows 2-6), Category II (Rows 7-16), and Category III (Rows 17-26). VIP tickets include an exclusive guided tour, and there's also a special option for the International Stefanos Organ Festival in October.

Experience a performance combining organ, vocals, and flute

Organist Miklós Teleki will play the basilica's organ, accompanied by Hungarian bass singer Kolos Kovács and flutist Eleonóra Krusic. Kolos Kovács is a concert and oratorio singer who has received the Franz Liszt Prize, the Award for Artistic Merit, and the Kossuth Prize. Eleonóra Krusic is a flutist with extensive international orchestral experience.

Listen to Classical Masterpieces from Bach to Verdi

The concert program includes Mozart's Fantasia in F minor (K 506), Stradella's "Pietà Signore", Albinoni's Adagio, Liszt and Saint-Saëns' "The Sermon on the Mount of the Animals to St. Francis of Assisi", and Verdi's "Ch'io sonเพียง" from "Simon Boccanegra" (Piesco's Prayer).

The performance concludes with movements from Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B minor (BWV 1067) – Polonaise, Minuet, and Badinerie – and Bach's iconic "Toccata and Fugue in D minor (BWV 565)", filling the basilica with sound.
