Hike to the Hollywood Sign with a Local Guide
Begin your hike after a safety briefing at the Innsdale Trailhead in the Hollywood Hills. You'll cover approximately 6.4 km (4 miles) at a steady pace, with some uphill sections and scenic overlooks. Your guide will share local stories and insider tips, and there will be plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, ask questions, and take photos as you walk.
See Both the Front and Back of the Hollywood Sign
This hike takes you to both the front and the less-seen back of the Hollywood Sign. Experiencing the sign from multiple perspectives, including the often-missed rear view, allows for a comprehensive appreciation of this landmark.
Enjoy Views Stretching to Downtown LA and the Pacific
En route, we'll stop at viewpoints offering sights of Griffith Observatory, Downtown Los Angeles, the Sunset Strip, Warner Bros. Studios Hollywood, and Forest Lawn Memorial Park. From the summit viewpoint, you'll have ample time to capture photos with the expansive LA basin, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding hills as your backdrop.
Return to the Start via Griffith Park
Continue your hike through Griffith Park, returning to the starting point at 6298 Innsdale Trl to conclude the tour. Please note there are no restrooms on the trail, so plan accordingly before you start.

Meet your guide, wearing a neon yellow Bikes & Hikes vest, next to the Smokey Bear sign outside the long white gates (Innsdale Trail). Parking is not available nearby on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, so using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft is recommended. Please be mindful of residents as this is a residential area.
