Group Surfing Lesson at Venice Beach for Beginners

This is a group surfing lesson lasting about 2 hours, designed for beginners and intermediate levels. The lesson is conducted in English, and surfboards (2.4m and 2.7m) and wetsuits are provided. You'll join other travelers and water sports enthusiasts in the class.

Gear Up in Your Wetsuit and Head to the Beach

Meet your instructor at the designated meeting point and get into your wetsuit. Your belongings can be stored in the equipment van during the lesson. Once ready, grab your surfboard and join the other participants on the sand.

Learn Surfing Basics and Safety on the Sand

The first 30-40 minutes are spent on the beach learning the fundamentals of surfing. You'll practice standing up on the board, learn about the ocean, and cover essential safety rules before heading into the water.

Ride the Waves with Your Instructor

Next, you'll head into the ocean for about 40 minutes of practice with your instructor. The remaining time is yours to freely practice your skills and enjoy surfing. After the lesson, your instructor will guide you to the outdoor public showers.
