San Francisco: 30-Minute Golden Gate Helicopter Tour over Alcatraz & Downtown

Take a helicopter from Sausalito
and fly over San Francisco for 30 minutes

Meet your pilot at the heliport in the bayside town of Sausalito. Before boarding, the pilot gives a short introduction to the helicopter flight and basic safety instructions. Board the helicopter, fasten your seatbelt, and take off. The pilot provides narration in English during the flight.

Fly along the Pacific coast and over the Golden Gate Bridge

Pass Baker Beach and the harbor and fly along the coast of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Pass Point Bonita Lighthouse, fly over Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park, and then over the Golden Gate Bridge, where you can take photos.

Look down on Downtown and Alcatraz Island from above

Look down on Crissy Field, Downtown San Francisco, Oracle Park, and the Alcatraz Island prison in turn. With historic Angel Island, once a gateway for immigrants, to the west, land at the heliport beside Sausalito's Richardson Bay.
