Las Vegas: Emerald Cave Kayak Tour - Mandalay Bay Shuttle Included

Take the shuttle from Mandalay Bay
and head out on a Black Canyon kayak tour

Board the shuttle at Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas and ride about 1 hour to Willow Beach in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. On arrival, meet your guide and get briefed on the kayak equipment and everything you need for the tour. Beginners can learn basic paddling skills, while experienced paddlers can show off their technique.

Paddle along the Colorado River canyon

Paddle about 8 km upstream on the Colorado River along the steep, rocky walls of Black Canyon. You will spend about 3 hours on the water. Look for desert wildlife such as bighorn sheep, coyotes, bald eagles and golden eagles, and hear stories from your guide about the Colorado River and the history of Hoover Dam.

Discover the glowing green Emerald Cave

Visit Emerald Cave (Emerald Cove), where the water shines bright green in the sunlight, and learn why it happens. Then take a short break to swim and recharge with granola bars, bananas and water.

Return to Las Vegas after the tour

After the kayak tour, take the shuttle back to Mandalay Bay, about a 1-hour ride. The whole tour lasts about 6 hours.
