Program

Depart from MGM Grand
and head to Willow Beach, Arizona

Meet on level 1 of the parking garage at the MGM Grand rideshare area in Las Vegas, then drive about 1 hour to Willow Beach, Arizona. The kayaks are sit-on-top models, which are more buoyant than sit-in kayaks and very hard to tip over. No previous kayaking experience is needed, and your guide will help keep the experience safe.

Paddle through Black Canyon to Emerald Cave

Paddle with your guide along Black Canyon and the Colorado River and see the green glow of Emerald Cave. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as bighorn sheep, bald eagles, hawks, foxes and coyotes.

Enjoy a short hike, a swim and snack breaks

Along the way, take a short history hike and get a chance to swim. Take a break with fresh fruit, ice water and snacks. After the tour, ride about 1 hour back to the meeting point.
