for the ranch and a Grand Canyon helicopter flight

This full-day trip takes you from your Las Vegas hotel to the Grand Canyon Western Ranch and back with a guide. You travel southeast across the Mojave Desert in a comfortable vehicle or a luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus while your guide describes the scenery and landmarks in English. It is a small-group tour of up to 12 people.

Take photos at Hoover Dam and a Joshua tree forest

About 45 minutes after departure, you stop at the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge (Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge) to look down on Hoover Dam and the Colorado River. You can also photograph the surrounding desert scenery, including Fortification Hill and Lake Mead.

Next, you pass through a forest of towering Joshua trees and have time for photos with the Grand Wash Cliffs as a backdrop.

Fly below the rim by helicopter from the Western Ranch

After arriving at the 165-acre Grand Canyon Western Ranch and receiving a safety briefing, you take a 25-minute helicopter flight from the ranch's private heliport. You fly over Spirit Mountain and the Grand Wash Cliffs, descend 457 m below the rim and follow the Colorado River for more than 24 km, admiring peaks and cliffs in deep red, gold and orange.

Forward-facing stadium seating and large windows give every seat a 180° panoramic view, and your pilot shares the canyon's natural and historical highlights throughout the flight.

Enjoy a cowboy-style lunch at the ranch and return

When the helicopter lands back at the ranch, enjoy the included cowboy western-style lunch at the ranch house and some free time. If you wish, you can book extra activities on site such as horseback riding, a wagon ride, a buffalo safari or a western-style shooting range.

At the end of the day, you ride the minibus back to Las Vegas, arriving around 4 PM.
