Fly below the Grand Canyon rim by helicopter
and land at the Western Ranch
After pickup from your Las Vegas hotel, a ride of about 20 minutes takes you to the VIP heliport, where you board the helicopter. The helicopter seats 6, and the tour runs as a small group of up to 12.
When booking, choose either the Western Ranch Adventure, with about 2 hours at the ranch and a helicopter flight back, or the Overnight Ranch Getaway with a night in a ranch cabin.
Pass Hoover Dam and enter the Grand Canyon West Rim
The helicopter flies over the Mojave Desert, Hoover Dam, the Bypass Bridge, the extinct Fortification Hill volcano, Lake Mead and the Colorado River into the Grand Canyon West Rim. You descend about 457 m below the rim to see towering canyon walls and colorful rock formations up close, then land at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch beneath Spirit Mountain.
Spend 2 hours at the ranch and fly back
With the Western Ranch Adventure, you spend about 2 hours exploring the grounds, meeting the ranch staff, taking in the desert scenery and enjoying the included hearty western-style lunch. Horseback or wagon rides along desert trails can be purchased on site.
After your ranch visit, you board the helicopter again and fly back to Las Vegas over the Mojave Desert and the Las Vegas Strip.
Stay overnight in a ranch cabin with the overnight option
With the Overnight Ranch Getaway, you check into a rustic pine cabin after arriving by helicopter and explore the ranch. In the evening, enjoy a western-style dinner at the ranch headquarters and live cowboy entertainment around a campfire under the desert stars. You can also stop by the Ranch House Western Bar before retiring for the night.
The next morning, after the included ranch breakfast, you return to Las Vegas in about 2 hours by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter through the Mojave Desert and a Joshua tree forest.
