Rent an ATV or UTV from a facility near the Apex OHV Area outside Las Vegas and ride the desert at your own pace for 2 hours. Drive yourself across varied terrain, from rocky desert trails to soft sand dunes, and take in Nevada's wide-open scenery. Choose between a single-seat ATV and a 2-, 3- or 4-seat UTV. No driver's license is required; drivers aged 16 or older only need a valid ID. Safety gear is provided, and the activity runs rain or shine.

Program

Check in, get trained
and head out to the desert trails

Simply arrive at the rental facility at your scheduled time; there is no need to come early. Check-in takes up to 30 minutes, followed by up to 2 hours of training and riding. On busy days, the whole visit can take up to 2 hours and 30 minutes. The safety gear you need is provided at the facility.

Ride rocky trails and sand dunes at your own pace

The rental facility is located close to Nevada's trails and sand dunes. The terrain ranges from rocky desert paths to soft sand dunes, so you can explore the vast desert at the speed you like without a guide.

Choose a single-seat ATV or a 2-, 3- or 4-seat UTV

Pick the single-seat ATV if you want to ride solo, or a 2-, 3- or 4-seat UTV that fits your group. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid ID, and no driver's license is required.

From Las Vegas, take I-15 North and exit at Exit 58 toward the Apex OHV Area (NV-604). Turn right onto 604, then turn left onto Clark R. Peterson Blvd. After about 1,000 feet, you will see the Las Vegas Outdoor Fun sign and a fence opening on your left. If you reach the Rich Brothers yard, you have gone too far, so please turn around. Hotel pickup is not included, so please make your own way there.
