A guided clear kayak tour across the crystal-clear spring waters of Silver Springs State Park in Florida. Through the transparent hull you can look straight down into the underwater world while searching for manatees, wild monkeys, turtles, birds and more in their natural habitat. Glide along the historic Fort King Trail beneath old cypress trees to experience Old Florida, and receive free photos taken by your guide throughout the tour. A short on-land lesson is given before departure, so this small-group tour is suitable even if you have never kayaked before.

Start at the Silver Springs Paddle Center
and paddle over crystal-clear springs
Meet your guide at the paddle center in Silver Springs State Park, check in and get your gear ready, then learn the safety rules and paddling basics on land before heading out. No prior paddling experience is needed, and the stable kayaks are comfortable for beginners.
The standard vessel is a clear two-person kayak. If you prefer a clear single kayak or a paddleboard, please call after booking to check availability. The whole experience takes about 2 hours including check-in and gear setup, with at least 1 hour 30 minutes on the water.
Look for manatees and wild monkeys in the clear water

Paddle along the turquoise spring water and enjoy the underwater scenery beneath your clear kayak. In their natural habitat you may spot manatees, wild monkeys, turtles, fish, birds and sometimes even otters. Manatees are seen most often in the colder months, and groups are kept small for a more relaxed wildlife experience.
Follow the Fort King Trail through the cypress forest

Glide along the historic Fort King Trail under the shade of old cypress trees. Along the way, look for hidden props from classic jungle movies filmed here and take in the natural scenery of Old Florida.
Receive free photos taken by your guide

Your guide takes photos throughout the tour and shares them via QR code after the experience. The tour ends back at the meeting point.
※ Wildlife lives in the wild, so sightings of manatees and monkeys cannot be guaranteed.
※ The Silver Springs State Park entrance fee ($2 per person) and launch fee ($4 per vessel) are paid separately on site.
