Your local guide, trained in first aid, explains the science of bioluminescence and the lagoon ecosystem. Groups are limited to 10, and if you do not see bioluminescence by the operator's standards, you receive a rebooking voucher valid for 3 years.

Paddle the Indian River Lagoon
through glowing blue light
After a safety briefing of about 10 minutes at Kayak Beach, head out onto the dark lagoon by kayak. Each paddle stroke creates sparkling trails of blue and green light, and you see genuine natural bioluminescence up close, not artificial lighting. Paddlers of all skill levels can join.
Meet sea creatures that leave trails of light

You may see schools of fish, graceful rays, or dolphins darting through the glowing water and leaving trails of light. The starry night sky and the glow on the water combine to create a truly special night scene.
Learn about bioluminescence
and the lagoon ecosystem from your guide

Your guide explains the science behind bioluminescence, the delicate balance of the surrounding ecosystem, and the role these glowing organisms play in marine life. You also learn how we can help protect their fragile habitat. After about 80 minutes of paddling, you return to Kayak Beach, where the tour ends.
