Enter with your mobile ticket
and explore the Safari Park freely

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a vast wildlife park where more than 3,000 animals of over 375 species live in open habitats that mimic their natural homes. With your voucher you can walk past the ticket office straight to the entrance, so there is no need to wait in the ticket line. Explore the themed areas, from the heart of Africa to Tiger Trail, in any order you like.

Cross the savanna on the Africa Tram Safari

Your ticket includes the Africa Tram Safari and all shows in the park. Ride the tram across the vast savanna and watch the animals at a relaxed pace. Skip-the-line access applies only to the ticket office; you may need to queue for the Africa Tram.

Walk alongside African elephants
at Elephant Valley

The Denny Sanford Elephant Valley, opened in early 2026 as the largest project in the park's history, lets you experience the world of African savanna elephants up close. Walk alongside the elephants on winding paths lined with African plants such as endangered cycads and acacias. From the two-story Mkutano House restaurant, you can look out over the watering hole where the elephants swim and play.

Visit Lion Camp, the aviary
and the tropical greenhouse

Come face to face with lions at Lion Camp and wander through the tropical greenhouse of the Hidden Jungle. At the Wings of the World Aviary, watch more than 140 bird species fly freely, and see the majestic California condor.

Kids can enjoy hands-on fun at the Discovery Station. Daily animal encounters, animal education sessions and interactive digital experiences are also available.

※ The Africa Tram Safari is subject to availability on the day.
