The class starts with a welcome gin on arrival at the distillery. Your host, an experienced distiller and qualified trainer, explains the basics of distillation, different styles of gin, base spirits, botanicals and flavour balance. No prior knowledge is needed; everything is explained step by step.

Create your own gin recipe and distil it yourself

Smell and taste a variety of botanicals, including traditional gin ingredients and native Australian plants, and create a recipe to suit your taste, from classic juniper-forward to citrus, floral or experimental styles. Distil your gin on your own mini still while learning how aromas are extracted and how the cuts are made.

Enjoy tastings and take your gin home

Throughout the class, enjoy guided tastings of the distillery's gins and vodkas, along with a shared fruit and cheese board. At the end, your gin is bottled and labelled, and you can collect the finished bottle right away or have it delivered.
