This was not the usual hop-on-hop-off bus experience. Our guide, Paul, acted more as a chauffeur and guide! He knew how long each activity would take. He hustled us from one cool thing to the next. While catching all the other passengers and making sure they got to do what they wanted too. Quite an impressive feat. So we got to enjoy the scenic drive, take a hike to a waterfall, walk along the skywalk, taste the local wine, and shop! On the way back to Brisbane Paul knew where to stop so that we tourists could all see wild kangaroos grazing in people’s yards! And, when we got into town Paul dropped us off at our hotel!! Give that man a raise ! And thank you for a lovely long day full of fun things to do and see.

Great day well organised and ran on time

Our driver is very nice and informative. However, the time we spend in the winery is bit short. After we taste the wine and finish the purchasing, we don't have time to walk around the beautiful space.

The bus was very comfortable and the driver Anthony was great. His knowledge on the area was amazing. The views were out of this world. Gallery Lane plenty of food choice.

Highlights

This product includes return transport from Brisbane to Tamborine Mountain, unlimited hop-on hop-off bus travel on the mountain and pre-booked entry to the Rainforest Skywalk. Once on the mountain, ride the bus that circulates between the main stops and visit wineries, breweries, distilleries, the cafés and shops of Gallery Walk, and lookouts in any order you like. Travel in an air-conditioned eco-friendly vehicle with a local driver-guide who helps you plan your day.

Program

Leave Brisbane
for Tamborine Mountain

After pickup from a designated hotel in Brisbane city, travel in an air-conditioned eco-friendly vehicle through the Scenic Rim to Tamborine Mountain, with scenic stops and basic commentary along the way. On arrival, your driver-guide gives you information and tips to help you enjoy the day.

Explore the mountain freely by hop-on hop-off bus

From about 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, the time is yours. Use the hop-on hop-off bus circulating between the main stops as often as you like to enjoy tastings at participating wineries, breweries and distilleries (at your own expense), or browse the cafés, restaurants and shops of Gallery Walk. You can also take short walks and enjoy valley views from lookouts. When you are ready to move on, simply hop on the next bus.

Walk the Rainforest Skywalk

At your designated time, visit the pre-booked Rainforest Skywalk. Follow elevated walkways and forest trails deep into the rainforest, enjoying the scenery along with interpretive signs.

Return to Brisbane in the afternoon

At the end of your free time, take the afternoon shuttle back to Brisbane city.

※ Free time is approximate and may vary depending on local conditions.
