From Brisbane: Sunshine Coast Hinterland & Noosa Day Tour - Small Group

Drive through the Blackall Range hinterland
and admire the Glass House Mountains

Depart Brisbane in a small-group vehicle and travel past country towns and farmland to the Blackall Range hinterland, about 90 minutes north of the city. Along the way, enjoy scenic roads with sweeping views.

Your first stop is Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a pocket of subtropical rainforest high above the coast. From the lookout, take in panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains, a group of ancient volcanic peaks steeped in Aboriginal legend, then take a short rainforest walk or enjoy a coffee at the cafe overlooking the range.

Stroll through the mountaintop village of Montville

Follow the winding hinterland roads to Montville, a bohemian mountaintop village. Spend about 45 minutes exploring streets lined with craft shops, local art galleries, handmade fudge stalls and cosy cafes brewing locally roasted coffee.

Shop and have lunch at the Eumundi Markets

Next, visit the Eumundi Markets, one of Queensland's best-known artisan markets. Held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the market is filled with handmade goods, slow fashion, local produce, street food and live acoustic music. You will have time to shop and grab lunch at one of the many food stalls.

On Fridays, the tour visits the nearby Eumundi Square Markets instead, where you can browse more than 80 boutique stalls offering fashion, gifts, food, art and live music.

Enjoy free time at the beaches
and national park of Noosa Heads

After lunch, head to Noosa Heads for a total of 2 hours of free time. Wander the boutiques and cafes of Hastings Street, relax on the beach, or walk the Noosa National Park coastal track along the clifftops with views of the ocean. You may spot dolphins, sea turtles or koalas along the track.

Your visit to Noosa National Park is included in this free time, so please manage your time to return to the meeting point on schedule. The tour then returns to Brisbane.
