From Gold Coast: Moreton Island Clear Kayak & Sandboarding Day Tour

Depart from the Gold Coast
and cruise to Moreton Island

From the meeting point in Surfers Paradise, travel by bus for about 2 hours, then board a spacious cruise with outdoor areas and covered seating. Enjoy ocean views as you cross Moreton Bay in about 75 minutes.

Kayak and snorkel at the Tangalooma Wrecks

After putting on a life jacket and receiving an orientation, follow your guide to snorkel and kayak around the Tangalooma Wrecks. Paddle a clear kayak on the crystal-clear water and look down at the underwater scenery around the wrecks.

Underwater, you can see fish and coral, and with luck you may meet turtles or rays. Snorkeling equipment and kayaks are provided.

Enjoy a wrap lunch on the beach and relax

Between activities, enjoy a DIY wrap lunch on the beach. Relax in the sunshine on the beach in front of the Tangalooma Wrecks.

Ride a 4WD to the desert and go sandboarding

Travel with a professional guide by 4WD vehicle to the sand dune area known as "The Desert". Slide down the dunes at speed on a sand toboggan and take in the scenery of Gheebulum Kunungai National Park, which covers most of Moreton Island.

At the end of the day, return to Surfers Paradise by cruise (about 75 minutes) and bus (about 2 hours).
