Collect your single kayak, paddle and life jacket at the Riverlife Adventure Centre in Kangaroo Point and explore the Brisbane River freely for 2 hours. As a self-guided rental, you choose your own route and go at your own pace with friends or family.

Get a kayak safety demonstration before you start

An experienced kayak instructor gives an overview of how to handle the kayak and the safety rules before departure. After the briefing, head out onto the river and begin your 2-hour rental.

from the water

Paddle under Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge or head toward picturesque South Bank. Admire the CBD skyline along the river from the water and capture memorable photos.

※ Kayak hire is available daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM; evening and night hire is not available.
※ Kayaking goes ahead rain or shine, but it is not recommended in very strong winds or thunderstorms.
