Board the 4WD bus
and head to Bribie Island

Start the day by boarding a 4WD bus in Brisbane, which you will travel in for the whole trip. Leave the city, drive north and cross the bridge to Bribie Island.

Drive the beach by 4WD
and look for wildlife

Explore the island's sandy tracks, coastal scrub and secluded beaches by 4WD, driving along 22 km of white sand. You may see kangaroos, goannas and a variety of birds, and depending on the season, dolphins and whales near the coast. Your guide explains the island's ecosystem, plants and animals.

Swim in a tea tree lagoon
and have lunch on the beach

Swim in the calm lagoon, tinted amber by tea trees, or paddle across the water on one of the stand-up paddleboards provided. Swimming is optional.

Then relax on a pristine beach, swim or sunbathe, and enjoy a lunch made with local ingredients with views of the coast. Bottled water and soft drinks are also included.

Explore a World War II fort
and Bongaree township

Explore the ruins of Bribie Fort, built during World War II to defend Brisbane, as your guide shares the island's military history. There is also time to swim at Ocean Beach and free time to explore the Bongaree township area before returning to Brisbane.
