Cairns Rainforest Giant Swing - Hotel Pickup

Ride the rainforest Giant Swing
at Skypark Cairns

Use the free transfer from designated locations in central Cairns to reach Skypark Cairns, or drive there yourself. The Giant Swing can carry 1, 2, or 3 people at once, so you can share the moment with your companions.

Get harnessed up and hoisted to the top

After checking in at Skypark, an instructor fits your harness and explains the release procedure. Once you are winched up to the launch height with your group, the rainforest canopy spreads out below and the Cairns hinterland surrounds you.

Sweep across the rainforest
at 120 km/h in 3.5 seconds

When you are ready, you are released. Drop from 45 meters to about 1 meter above the ground in 3.5 seconds, reaching up to 120 km/h as you swing through the trees, then slow down and sway gently above the forest floor. The whole ride takes about 60 seconds.

Capture the moment with a photo and video package

Choose the option with media to receive the Epic Shot photo and video package capturing your entire ride. Purchases at the bar and cafe are paid separately.
