This guided tour takes you from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch, located in a UNESCO World Heritage area, and back in a single day. Ride the cable car from Grindelwald Terminal up to Eigergletscher station, then change to the cogwheel train to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe. Program
Depart from Interlaken
and head up to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe
Meet your guide in front of the OUTDOOR Interlaken shop and travel by coach to the mountain resort village of Grindelwald (about 30 minutes). Your guide speaks English, Spanish or Chinese depending on the option you book.
Ride the cable car and cogwheel train to the summit
From Grindelwald Terminal, take the cable car up to Eigergletscher station while enjoying sweeping Alpine views. At Eigergletscher, change to the cogwheel train to the Jungfraujoch summit. Reserved seats and priority boarding are included.
Explore the Sphinx Observation Terrace and the Ice Palace
At the top, explore the Alpine plateau covered in snow, ice and rock at your own pace. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, neighboring countries and the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observation Terrace and the Plateau, and walk through the tunnels of the Ice Palace inside the glacier.
You can also experience Alpine Sensation, created for the 100th anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway, and take photos with the Swiss flag. Meals and snacks can be purchased at the summit restaurants.
Descend via Wengen to Lauterbrunnen
On the way down, ride the train past the resort village of Wengen to Lauterbrunnen (about 50 minutes). From Lauterbrunnen, a coach takes you back to Interlaken, and the tour ends in front of the shop where it started (about 30 minutes).

※ Depending on the weather, access to Alpine Sensation, the Sphinx Observation Terrace, the Plateau and the Ice Palace may not be possible.
