Ride a 400cc fully automatic 4WD quad bike off-road on private tracks on Queenstown Hill. The operator has exclusive use of the land, so you can enjoy panoramic views over the Queenstown area without other groups. Before setting off, your guide gives a safety briefing and riding instruction, and the trails across varied terrain are adapted to your group's ability. Protective gear, waterproof clothing and morning or afternoon tea are included, and you can choose from three pick-up points.

Meet at your pick-up point
and head to Queenstown Hill
Meet at one of three locations, 37 Shotover Street, Frankton Bus Interchange or Tucker Beach Recreation Reserve, and travel by van for about 20 minutes to Queenstown Hill. On arrival, put on all the protective gear and all-weather waterproof clothing provided.
Get safety training and hop on your quad bike

Before you ride, your guide gives detailed instructions and a full safety briefing, so riders of all levels can take part. The quad bikes are fully automatic 400cc 4WD models. If you cannot demonstrate safe riding or communicate with the guide in simple English during training, you may not be able to take part for safety reasons.
Ride off-road on private tracks

Ride off-road trails across varied terrain for about 2 hours 15 minutes, including the safety training. Your guide adapts the route to the group's ability, and there is plenty of time to stop at lookout points for photos. Morning or afternoon tea is served during the experience, and afterwards you return by van in about 20 minutes to your pick-up point.
