When you arrive at the lakeside Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant, the chef grills the finest local produce. The buffet includes salads, vegetables and succulent local meats cooked on a wood-fired BBQ, plus fresh bread, cheese and a variety of desserts. It is served as a lunch or dinner buffet depending on your booked time.

Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the alpine scenery of Queenstown, the Colonel’s Homestead combines colonial-era architecture with the farm’s vast grounds.

Watch the farm show and stroll the lakeside gardens

After the meal, enjoy a farm demonstration that the whole family can enjoy. If you have time left, you can stroll through the beautiful lakeside gardens before boarding the boat back to Queenstown.
